This division consists of Uniformed Patrol that patrols both Lee County airports, Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Page Field Airport (FMY). The division also consists of the Field Force unit and the Hazardous Device Squad. Some of the daily responsibilities include enforcing TSA regulations and state laws, traffic, community policing, dignitary protection and crowd control.

FMY, an FAA-designated reliever airport, provides service to general and business aviation and accomodated more than 203,000 aircraft operations in 2023, a new record. Base Operations at Page Field is an award-winning, fixed-based operator and has been recognized for its customer service and facilities.
Field Force Unit
Field Force Unit
The LCPA PD Field Force team is tasked with handling crowd control and other higher risk operations. The team works closely with other agencies in the area to collaborate on large scale events. Team members receive specialized training and equipment to be better prepared when called upon.
Hazardous Device Squad
Hazardous Device Squad
The Lee County Port Authority Hazardous Device Squad (Bomb Squad) was formed in 1979. Together with Bomb Squads from the Lee County Sheriff Department, Collier County Sheriff Department, and the FBI, we respond to a five county area for bomb squad callouts as the Southwest Florida Regional Bomb Squad. Members attend a six week FBI Hazardous Device certification class at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL and then must go to Recertification class every three years thereafter at Redstone Arsenal. Members train twenty-four hours (24) every month with the other local bomb squads.
